Automobiles in German Town Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State
Area Police
Around fifty vehicles have been marked with what appears to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.
Automobiles, exterior walls and postal boxes were marked, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they announced in a official communication.
Law enforcement report they were notified late on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish fluid.
The fluid had been drawn in the form of a swastika, they added.
Law enforcement then found many other marked automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.
These symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws banning the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.
Law enforcement state initial examinations show the fluid was likely human blood.
"Currently there is no clue as to its source; investigators are currently not informed of any harm in connection with the occurrence," they commented.
City officials announced they were trying "to unravel the case" and have appealed to the community for details.
A high-ranking representative stated the incident made him stunned and had to be solved rapidly.
"This incident strikes at the very heart of Hanau and revives the trauma of the right-wing terrorist attack in 2020," he wrote on online, mentioning the death of nine individuals by a shooter targeting people of migrant background in 2020.
